Your Coaches
JENNA
Hi there! I’m Jenna March, founder and owner of Iron Bond Fitness.
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Precision Nutrition Level 1 and Macronutrient Coach, a Certified Pre/Postnatal Strength Coach, and a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor.
I’ve been active, adventurous, and constantly on the move for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing ice hockey, including two years of college hockey, and played volleyball throughout high school. During my senior year of college, I had the opportunity to complete two incredible internships working with high school and collegiate athletes. Those experiences opened my eyes to the impact of strength training and ultimately led me to discover my passion for coaching.
After earning my undergraduate degree, I worked as a group fitness instructor and fitness manager at a variety of gyms and studios. Each experience taught me something different, challenged me in new ways, and helped shape me into the coach I am today.
At the heart of everything I do is a passion for creating workouts that are fun, effective, and empowering. I believe fitness should challenge you, but it should also make you feel capable, confident, and proud of what your body can do. My goal is to help people step outside of their comfort zones, discover their strength, and realize just how much they’re capable of.
That philosophy is what inspired me to create Iron Bond Fitness—a place where people can work hard, have fun, feel supported, and become stronger together.
When I’m not in the gym, you’ll most likely find me traveling, sitting my bum on a beach, going for a walk, cleaning or organizing something (it’s a problem!), or spending quality time with my family.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to help you discover what you’re capable of.
KARIN
After having worked in the fitness industry for over twenty years, I recently took a hiatus for several reasons; one of them being a bout with breast cancer. Now that I am fully recovered and cancer free, I am ready to dive back in with some old friends and make some new ones at Iron Bond Fitness.
I have held several certifications from ACE, NSCA, Strongfirst, Dv8 Fitness, etc., so I have plenty of education and experience to bring to the table. But, honestly, at this point in my life and career, I mostly just want to help people enjoy their time at the gym, really look forward to their workouts and feel great about the many positive effects of movement: elevated mood, enhanced tolerance, increased energy and better quality of life, just to name a few.
I currently work fulltime as a Personal Care Assist to a 25 year old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. My loves include my husband (Marvin), my son (Savion), our three cats (T’Challa, Shuri and Everett), dancing, playing the piano, watching scary movies and making ridiculous jokes.
So come give me a shot on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30am and let’s start your day off right and have some fun!
ALAYNA
Hello everyone!
I am a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA. I’ve always been a pretty active person, sports etc, but discovered my absolute love, and need for movement shortly after having my first son. Since then I have run a variety of OCR races, half marathons (and one full) and tried several forms of organized fitness classes. I eventually realized that one of my favorite things to do is pick up heavy stuff and encouraging others to do the same, especially when mixed with some burpees!
When not coaching or taking classes, I can be found with my husband carting one of my three kids around to their various activities, being involved at church or packing fun snacks for my little crew to take outside for a walk or a hike!
BRAD
Hey all!
After marrying the amazing Jenna March AND IBF, I’ve had the privilege of becoming the property manager, handyman, AND a coach!
I grew up riding motocross; I danced hip hop and ballroom in college, and began my lifting journey in my early 20’s. Since joining Iron Bond Fitness I’ve only gotten stronger, taken my training to the next level and have found a sustainable rhythm with my workouts.
I’ve had a couple injuries (knees and shoulder) that have driven me to expanding my knowledge specifically in knee strengthening. I am a huge fan of the sled, assault bike and deadlifts so if you need some correction or encouragement in these areas, I’m your guy.
Outside of the gym, I work fulltime as a solutions engineer at Presales Leader. Besides the twins keeping us super busy, when I have a free moment to myself I enjoy any opportunity to golf, work on my car or get caught up on the newest show.
angelina
Hi everyone!
My name is Angelina and I am currently a graduate student in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Quinnipiac University. I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2021 and started doing lots of different types of training at my gym back home in New Jersey. I also at the beginning of this year became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NCSA which helped me grow a lot as a trainer.
I have always been very active and was a gymnast my entire life. This led me to being a student athlete at Quinnipiac doing Acrobatics and Tumbling for my 4 years of undergrad while I got my Bachelors in Health Sciences. Although I had always been active, it was around the beginning of college when I truly fell in love with all things about lifting weights and fitness. It makes me so happy to share this love with others and help my patients and clients become the strongest version of themselves!
HARRISON
Howzit everyone!
Fitness and physical activity has been a foundational pillar in my life. Growing up I was always on the move playing soccer, lacrosse, snowboarding and competitively mountain biking. After the end of competitive sports, my focus turned to strength training and conditioning.
In 2020 I decided to build upon what had always been a passion and obtained my personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise ("ACE"). My goal when working with clients is to help them achieve their fullest potential in a motivating but supportive environment. As I coach I hope to see clients realize the extraordinary benefits regular exercise has not only on their body but mind.
When I'm not coaching I work as an attorney (boring I know). You can always find me outside, hiking, paddleboarding, chilling at the beach and spending time with my wife and dog.
HAYLEY
I’m Hayley Whalen. I am a certified personal trainer through ISSA. I have always had a love for fitness. I danced right through college, played softball, field hockey, and I love to snowboard. I enjoy running and spending time outdoors.
I started coaching classes in college as a part time job and became certified as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. I continued coaching after college while owning a clothing boutique in town. I then sold the store to stay home raising my three kids. Currently, I work part time at a barbershop. I have three boys who are 11, 13, and 15. They are the ones who have inspired me to get back in the gym! They are all very active in sports and have started strength training as well.
I found Iron Bond Fitness through a friend’s recommendation and immediately fell in love. It was exactly what I had been looking for. I am so happy to now be coaching at this amazing gym. Strength training has become my new passion. I can’t wait to help and inspire people to look and feel their best and fall in love with fitness like I did a long time ago!

Hello Iron Bond family — I’m Joe.
I’ve been coaching for four years, primarily in the collegiate sector, and I currently work with athletes at Yale. I’m certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and I’m passionate about helping clients move well, feel strong, and enjoy being part of a supportive community.
